P R O J E C T S C O P E:
The Island House is a small boutique hotel in Nassau, Bahamas. We have been asked to propose designs for the hotel lobby, 6 villas and 30 guest rooms. The owners are looking to create a space that offers guests a place of comfort without sacrificing style. Therefore the design of the Island House will focus on providing a restful atmosphere for the current traveler. Natural materials will be implemented throughout the design to relate the hotel back to its geographical location. Neutral colors with red and orange accents will be used to emphasize the local artwork that the owners have collected for the hotel. The Island House will be a place where sophistication meets comfort.
